Bundles of Joy in Twos

Img_1000Criss Cross Applesauce, isn’t this cross-cross card stinkin’ cute? My guest artist, Jane Schenck, wrote me that her inspiration for this card was the Spring Mini catalog itself, "the whole pocket/ announcement concept." Once again, Jane put together a fabulous card showcasing the Bundle of Joy stamp set, and this time she added the Slumber Party designer paper.

My Dad loved playing with photography and even considered owning a photography store before I was born. Fortunately for many young people he chose instead to become a school teacher and administrator. I wish, though, that he’d played more with his photography, because, well, as you can see by these lovely models, he was pretty good. Those models are none other than my adorable twin sister and me. So, what’s up with my sister holding all the toys? Yeah, we were a handful.

Here’s a close up of Jane’s card so you can enjoy it without the distraction of those overwhelmingly beautiful babies. (As with all the pictures in my blog, you can get a bigger/better image if you click on the picture.)

If you’d like to know more about how to assemble these criss-cross cards, just leave me a note on this post. I’ll try to put together a tutorial.

Jane’s got one more card to share with you . . . so don’t change the channel.
