Oh, Jane Schenck, you’ve done it again. I love this card, and I hope you can see all the beautiful detail she put in it. Again, Jane’s so humble, she wrote me that "the welcome little one [card] grew from the ribbon . . . cuz I am a bit color challenged and the ribbons and papers help me out so much!" That ribbon is from Stampin’ Up!’s Seaside ribbon collection. The background paper Jane actually made herself using pieces from the same Bundle of Joy set. And, that adorable little ribbon charm is from the Riveting level 1 hostess stamp set. Okay, I have that riveting stamp set but I’ve never done anything as cute as this with it. Jane, you really are an artist.
The other cutie in the picture next to Jane’s card . . . that’s my baby boy Ben. He’s 23 years old now (taller, smarter and making more money than me), but you mother’s know what I mean when I say he’ll always be my "welcomed little one."
The old expression, "you’re known by the company you keep," sure makes me a lucky person ’cause I get to keep company with some outstanding crafters. I hope that means some of Jane’s talent will run off onto me. Thanks Jane, for being my guest this week.
