My friend, Jane, is so much fun and one of the most successful Stampin’ Up! demonstrators I know, so it’s no surprise that she’s also such a great paper-craft artist. You may remember Jane Schenck from some earlier posts in April. You can click here for one of them. She put together the next three cards for an invitation-only swap (I was so honored to be able to join) to help us promote the new three for you Punch Box. Stampin’ Up! is running a special promotion for this punch box that runs out with the month of August. Shame on me, I almost let the month go by without sharing Jane’s cards so you can have some ideas for your punch kit.
The stamp set that comes with the punch box is so cute, she didn’t even need to use the punch to make this adorable card. The kit comes with the trio flower punch, 9-piece die-cut (pre-trimmed) stamp set, and 1 each of basic black, purely pomegranate, and wild wasabi classic stampin’ spots. You can learn more about the promotion by clicking here.
I love the sentiment on this card, "a friend is someone who makes it easy." Jane is definitely one of those kinds of friends, always willing to share her ideas.
Jane told me she got the ideas for these two cards from layouts she really liked. This next criss-cross card was a Splitcoast Stampers challenge. She added that she loves designer paper and says it makes designing pretty cards so easy.
This card uses the Blue Bayou and Soft Sky Prints designer series paper. I love how this prints designer paper adds just a subtle background to your cards without overwhelming them. You can mix and match the patterns so easily and still not make the card too busy looking.
Stay tuned. I’ve got another card to share with you tomorrow from Jane and a great story she tells of how she got started in Stampin’ Up! Meanwhile if you want to see more of Jane’s work, you can check her Stampin’ Up! website here: Jane Schenck.
