I keep saying "I don’t do cute," but I think after this card I’ll have to quit saying that. I mean, this is just the most stinkin’ cute card I’ve ever made. I was definitely inspired by this card by Barb Dean and this card by Angie Kennedy Juda. If I had morphing software, the combination of their two cards would look like this little guy . . .
If you "do" cute, here’s the recipe.
Cardstock is Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue and Whisper White. I ran the white through a Cuttlebug embossing folder and a little 5/8" x 4" strip of Bashful Blue through the crimping tool. The patterned paper is from the Winter Bright scrapping kit.
The stamp set is Merry & Bright from the latest mini catalog, and I colored the hat and scarf with Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate ink using blender pens. There’s a little brad on the top of the snowman’s hat. I used a little Pretty in Pink to color some pink cheeks (it’s cold outside, after all). And then, with the two-way glue I put glitter all over the snow man. The final touch is that 5/8" certainly celery grosgrain ribbon.
