Acts of Kindness

There’s a common phrase among the crafting community you’ve probably heard of, "random acts of kindness" or "RAKS." I was the blessed recipient of some RAKS this Christmas season, only I prefer to call the BAKS for Beautiful Acts of Kindness, because I know there’s nothing random about these. I know these ladies put lots of heart into these gorgeous creations . . . and I’m thrilled to hold and treasure them.

Bev Wooley created this fantastic, edible, reusable ornament by adorning a season shaker filled with jelly beans – yum! Check this out!

Solange Phillips sent me this elegant card. I’m not sure what I did to deserve such a lovely thank you card, but isn’t it darling?

And, for Christmas, Solange went me this beautiful, very sparkly card, nestled among just a small part of the very large collection of Santa’s I inherited from my mother-in-law.

Lisa Legereit accomplished something I tried to do but didn’t quite succeed – she made a Western-themed Christmas card. Inside it says: "From: Texas, Merry Christmas from Our Ranch to Yours!" I love it! (You can click here to see more of Lisa’s work in her Splitcoast Stampers gallery.)

Thank you Bev, Solange and Lisa! You really helped make my holidays special.
