My Dad used to say he wanted to live to be 100, shot by a jealous woman. Yes, he was a heart throb (at least to this Daddy’s girl). He died at 83, but, hey, he had just finished gutting out and completely remodeling his fishing cabin – not bad for 83.
So . . . in celebration of birthdays and centurial ambitions, here are the last two installments of cards from the Lonestar Stampers group, today featuring Cyndee Rust and the Birthday Whimsy Sale-a-bration stamp set.
I’m sorry the quality of picture isn’t all that great, but check out how she used the punches. This card is gorgeous in person with all the sparkling glitter.
I’ve always liked brown and pink together, and I love how Cyndee embellished the felt flower with just a simple brad.
Isn’t that festive? It’s tricky to combine two patterned papers together, but I love what Cyndee did.
Hang on to your birthday hats . . . there’s more celebration to come.
