When I saw the sneak-peek of the laser-cut Fresh Cut notes, I thought they'd make a darling peek-in window for a box. Oh, then, I saw Lee Ann Greff's phenomenal card, Crimpled Petals, her genius treatment of the tear-away petals and her color choices. (Lee Ann's blog, Flowerbug Inkspot, is amazing, I'm definitely her new stalker.)
Following Lee Ann's lead, I sponged the tear-away petals with Certainly Celery ink, folded them in half, and ran them through the crimper tool. I sponged the edges just a little with Creamy Caramel ink and then tucked them back into the flower points.
Lee Ann and I sponged the white points with Cameo Coral ink and added a flower made from Cameo Coral card stock and the five-petal punch. The finishing touches are a flower punched out of Apricot Appeal card stock using the Boho Flower punch, and a build-a-brad with Cameo Coral card stock. The peek-in window is backed with a transparency sheet.
Here's the little 4" x 4" pizza box open.
