Create {kre-at’} in the Crop Crib

There’s this funny little thread at the demonstrator side of Splitcoast Stampers about naming your stamping studio. I never really thought about it before. I put it to my ever-so-clever husband, and he came up with the name, Crop Crib. Think MTV would feature it?

I’m moving a little slow today after surgery on Tuesday, but I’m not so sore that I couldn’t hop on top of my desk to put up my new Stampin’ Up! “Décor Elements” rub ons. Check it out:

Here’s the whole wall. Can you tell I like punches and paint? There’s also my “inspiration” bulletin board and my cutting/embossing station. With my overstuffed chair, music and all my tools – I’m in cozy, cropping, crafting, creating heaven!

If I’m not careful, my whole house could be overrun with these rub ons, they’re so much fun. But, then again, I can just peel them off if I want to try something new.  I’ll get to show you the whole line on July 1. Meanwhile, these are just my sneak peaks. More tomorrow.

Sweet Comments

  1. Linda, I love the name of your craft space! I’ve always called mine a Craft Room … I like it when people call them Studios … but when I say it, it sounds so stupid! LOL!

  2. It looks like your walls are textured. Does that mean that those wall rub ons/vinyl will adhere well and look good on textured walls? Your wall looks really nice!

  3. Karen – I had no problem at all with the textured walls. I did have to go pretty slow, but I don’t know if that’s because the walls were textured or just the nature of the beast. I’m very happy with the results. If you’re concerned, start with one of the smaller designs first.

  4. I love it! I bought this one too…but in chocolate and put it above my craft table! I also climbed up on the table to put it up but I made my hubby help me! :) I love the Crop Crib! Hope you are feeling good after surgery! :)

  5. This is fabulous! Love seeing these in real life! My studio has textured walls…boo hoo, I won’t be able to do something like this, but I love it!

  6. HA! Guess you liked that definition too. :-)
