happiness {home decor}

Here’s my second stab at playing with the new Stampin’ Up! Home Décor vinyl rub ons

Like all the other homes in my neighborhood, my walls are textured. I had to apply the rub ons very slowly to make sure each little serif and swirl transferred. I don’t know if this is because my walls are textured or if it’s just the nature of the rub ons. Especially if you have textured walls, you might want to start with one of the smaller patterns, like this “happiness.”

My family gave me this old letter press box at Christmas with characters that all represent each of them. The big red M’s are a McClain family heirloom from my father-in-law. I thought the mis-happened letters in “happiness” would be the perfect final touch to my collection of letters.

Every since I put this up, I can’t get this song out of my head from “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”  Turn on your speakers and hum along with me.

Sweet Comments

  1. Very interesting about the rub-on, I love the create definition for my stamp room, was curious how it would do on textured walls!

  2. I too use this type of decor elements for my sweet home
