Keepin’ Austin Weird 5K

“Rich people can be eccentric. The rest of us can be weird.”
– Frank Zuppo

Yesterday, my son ran the sixth annual “Keep Austin Weird” 5K, along with 3,000 runners who embrace the concept of “collaborative fission of coordinated individualism.” Surgery side-lined me, but no worries, I got great pix. Enjoying the festivities before the race, here’s my favorite runner, my son.

And a cast of characters individuals . . .

Mama’s boy

Walk quietly and carry a big stick.

Wasted away again in Margaritaville

And, finally, Oh my. I’m glad he found a place to put his race number.

Tomorrow – On your marks, and they’re off . . . way off.
