I’m in Utah with my sis and having so much fun meeting fellow stampers. It’s just amazing to me how much creativity we have on one building. I’m also extremely tired. I know, that sounds wimpy. We’ve been going 100 miles an hour for days . . . and I’m feeling the 50 years my sis and I celebrating. But, I wanted to a least get a few pix to you.
Now, if this post makes no sense . . . refer to above paragraph . . .
So, yesterday was about checking in, getting our convention bags, which are themselves beautiful, and, drum roll, the new catalog. It is freakin’ amazing!!! After shopping in Memento Mall for Convention exclusives, sis and I got to visit the Stampin’ Up! facility. Here are my favorite highlights. The picture above is of the open atrium, and just inside are the beautiful display areas, about four rooms illustrating the most creative uses of Stampin’ Up! products. Here’s my favorite room. For the most observant, you’ll notice a lot of the Summer Picnic paper that was in our last mini catalog. It made it to the new catalog – I am so stinking thrilled.
Check out this paper window valance! border, place mat, paper-lined case . . .
Let’s look at those thread bobbins a little closer! They’re patterned paper!
Just right of this . . .
In for a close-up.
And . . . your ever-so-helpful demonstrator (that’s me) . . . making sure your orders are on the line.
What’s that hanging on my arm? Memento Mall goodies – a fantabulous project bag and little stuffed animals that match our stamp set (so cute!). But . . . more importantly . . . look at all that untouched, virgin Rubbah!
On it’s way to us!
I’ve seen so much in the past few days, its just kind of overwhelming to try to compress even a little of it into a post. A few highlights you’ve probably already heard . . . our founder, Shelli, will be starting a blog at www.soshelli.com on August 4, a promotion in August putting our brand new stamp sets on sale, some more vinyl wall rub-ons (Decor Elements 2) in our exclusive colors (not just brown/kraft/white), Shelli signature line, and the most adorable Halloween vinyl rub-ons, paper, and stamp sets that all coordinate.
Well, more later. My sis is having to sit next to me and literally hold my eyelids open. Wait until you see the unbelievable swaps I got. Word has gotten out about my cakes, and I’m being called “the cake lady,” but you should see the beautiful things I got in exchange. And, you will see . . . after I get some sleep . . . but I’m not dead yet.
