Paper Bouquet Gift Box

Here's another one of the projects I got to make with the fabulous paper-horticulturist Susan Tierney Cockburn from Seattle.

Honestly – no trick photography. These California Poppies and Star Gazer Lilies are really made with paper. Susan's book has all the instructions and recommendations for the tools you need, all of which are available at Scrapilly Ever After. The poppies are actually made with coffee filters we painted with Twinkling H2O. The center of the flowers have Flower Soft, which Susan says is just shredded PVC. What fun!

Sweet Comments

  1. Just stunning! Wow!
Do you happen to know whether her book has instructions for any winter holiday type flowers in there? I’ve been hoping that Amazon would scan a table of contents I could browse through to see what flowers were included, but no such luck. Thanks!

  2. Amy. Yes – her books has Holly and Berries, Pinecones (amazing!), and Poinsettia.

  3. That’s wonderful news! Thanks so much, Linda! (And thanks for the very kind comment you left on my blog, too!)

  4. Wow, I never would have guessed that those flowers were paper, if I hadn’t read it!!

  5. These are lovely!
