Hey, Linda. My blog is a WordPress.org blog and I love it. I have also set up my husband’s blog as well as a fellow demo’s blog. You can email me if you want to.
Good luck with your blog renovation
Jen
Hi Linda,
I love your new look! The font, the chicken (right next to the word “recipe, poor little guy!), and the adorable graphics! How cute is that seagull for your Catty Cruise?! You are too clever! Best of luck with the new format. I love your blog!
Love the new look too! I have wordpress and love it- it is easy to use and they keep improving it. It also also unlimited pages on your blog, which is handy.
Jen – Thanks for the offer! So, I found a place to host my site, JustHost, found an FTP program, Filezilla, and found some great software to generate my own theme, Artisteer. I’ve uploaded my theme, and slowing migrating things over. So much more to do, though, like research cool PlugIns. Gee, I almost sound like I know what I’m doing.
You sound like you’re on a roll! I thought I’d send you two of my favorite plugin links to check out for yourself.
The first one is a photo gallery:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nextgen-gallery/
And the second one is a contact form so people can email you from your blog:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/
I’ve used both of these and I think they’re super easy to deal with. I am currently using the Gallery Plugin on my blog now: http://www.crazystampgirl.com/?page_id=11
I have it set up to display an entire gallery on one page, but you can sort it by album if you wanted. You could have Club Projects, Samples, Tutorials, etc all separated out.
Anyway…hope this links save you a bit of time.
Not sure that this is true:), but thanks for a post.
