I’m No Ansel Adams

I’m no Ansel Adams, but wouldn’t it be fun to be? I have a love/hate relationship with my camera. I love taking pictures but I hate that I’m not a better photographer. The scenery in Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Parks is just too beautiful not to at least try to do the landscape justice. So, you get to be the victims of my humble photographic efforts.

  1. Wow pretty awesome pics mom! remember the days when I used to go on summer vacation while you had to stay hard away at work? yeah that was last summer… I want those days back!

  2. Wow Linda!

Your photos are GORGEOUS! What memories you brought back for me of my childhood trips out West. My Dad was an Elementary Art Teacher in Iowa, so we had the summers to travel. We would be so excited that we would drive straight through & then camped out close to the different places we wanted to see. We even camped (in our van) at Yellowstone! Loved seeing all of the beautiful natural creations of these great United States! The Grand Tetons were majestic. I still can see their reflection in the water. How lucky for you to have hiked with great tour guides! I think your pic with the two of you would be a beautiful Christmas card!!!

    ENJOY!

  3. Wow Linda, what beautiful pictures….gosh, I wish I was out there too! The mountains and forests are one of my most favorite places to visit. I’ve been to Yellowstone and also swam in the Teton lake (brrrr so very cold)when I was about 11 or 12. My family took a trip out West one summer and we visited both places. Even at that young age I remembered how beautiful it was and how I loved being there. Always wished I could have those type of views out my windows on a daily basis. Now wouldn’t that be grand?!! Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures with all of us!
