It’s a big, wonderful, proud day for us. My baby girl, Caitlin, is graduating from college. In just a few hours she’ll be walking across the stage receiving her diploma. I’m so, so proud of her.
If you”re a regular reader of mine (God love you), you might remember I a post about the whole family pitching in to help make Caitlin’s graduation announcements. Well, here they are. Not your usual graduation cards, and not even a card you’re used to seeing from me. Yep, no school seal and no ribbons, buttons, embellishments – just paper and ink. Okay, we did through in a little embossing powder. Caitlin’s major is furniture merchandising, thus the chandelier. And, her school colors are green and white. Caitlin designed her card – I just helped with the logistics. I love it! And I love that it represents her so beautifully.
Meanwhile, the Cards for Heroes blog hop kicks off today. There are 41 (gracious) blogs sharing ideas for Christmas cards and information on new techniques – you can hop on here: Cards for Heroes.
Have a wonderful day!
