Oh my achy breaky bones . . . three days of chills, aches, cough . . . well, you get the picture. The couch and I have become such close buds, people are starting to talk. But, I think I’m on the mend today, and, honestly, it hasn’t been as bad as a flu I had years ago. Which is kind of an insult. Well, follow me for a minute. I was talking to the medical director of a nursing home last week who said older people aren’t getting the swine flu as badly as the young whippersnappers. Seems once you get it there’s permanent immunity, and there was a bad case of swine flu in the 60’s. So, since I’m a non-whippersnapper I get spared. Hmrgh, insulting, isn’t it.
Anyway . . . Erika Martin gave me the best possible medicine – beats even Tamaflu. She put me in the spotlight for her Journaling 101 course. Feels kind of weird to be all over the page of someone else’s blog, but, I’m so thrilled to be part of Erika’ project, I’m happy to promote it anyway I can. Oooo, and I’ve taken the first three classes in the series, and I can already tell you they’ve impacted my scrapbooking in tremendous ways. So, be sure to fly over to Erika’s to see yours truly off the couch and in the spotlight – just don’t run into any swines during your flight over there: Stampin’ Mama, Journaling 101 Design Team.
