Anyone who knew my Dad knew he loved to fish. Even more, he loved teaching children how to fish. When I saw Mo's Digital Pencil Too image, Fishing, I knew I would have to play with it. Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #17 (about wood or would) spurred me on and gave me a deadline.
Mo's image captured my Dad so well. He fished with live bait, often in a small boat just like this in the lakes and ponds around Owen County, Indiana. So, you'll have to indulge me a bit because I can't possibly share this card with you without sharing a few precious pictures of Dad.
In the background, helping my kids wet a hook in his backyard pond.

What a beautiful tribute to your Dad! The card is wonderful. Glad you shared it with us in Mo's Challenge.
You don't need me, or anyone, else to tell you just how talented a colourist you are Linda.
Your colouring in this image is just beautiful. It's clearly inspired – by your lovely Dad, no doubt – as it's very hard to get such vibrant colours not to look 'flat'.
I'm presuming you 'masked' Mo's fab image?

Oh my……your card is stunning! You certainly did a beautifull job in coloring it with your Copics. Thank you for sharing the photos of your Dad. He looked so happy at the helm of the boat and with his family getting ready to fish.
