It's one of my favorite times of the month again – time for the Paper Garden Projects blog hop. This month we're celebrating all the Lads, Dads and Grads out there. My blog hop project celebrates a very special graduate, one of my daughter's best friends, Kristi. By the time she reads this, she'll be Texas Tech alumni!

I just have to share one special picture of Kristi and my Caitlin. This was their high school graduation. And, yes, even though they're both college graduates now, for me, these strong, independent women will always be my girls. Congratulations, Kristi Critter! We are so proud of you!!!

Okay, hankies away (I always cry at graduations), onward toward the hop.

While you visit each stop, subscribe to each Gardener's blog and take note of each designer's name and their special garden walk word in their blog post. Once you finish your garden tour, send an E-mail to custserv@papergardenprojects.com with the list of designers and their garden walk word. Once you send  the correct list of designers and words you'll be entered in a random drawing to win a prize. You have until midnight (EST) on Tuesday, May18 to send your list. Good luck!

And the prize? How about these cute little lads form Eat Cake Graphics. If you get lost along the way, here are the garden tour guide list:

I started out with this sketch from Caardvarks (though, as usual, I altered it a bit).

Sketch 52

And, since Texas Tech colors are Scarlet and Black – I let that be my self-imposed color challenge. Here are the Copic markers I used and the rest of the recipe.

Have you figured out what my garden walk word is? It's "and". And with that said, you're ready to journey over to the next Garden Walk Stop, Erin. Enjoy!
