Snooze Button?

If people were meant to pop out of bed, we'd all sleep in toasters.

My brilliant son and his web design and e-marketing company, Peitho Media LLC, (Yo, Ben!) animated my blog banner for me. Doesn't it rock?! I mean, seriously! I keep hitting the refresh button just to see the little chicken timer go off. As much as both Ben and I love the whole effect . . . the stirring spatula, ticking kitchen timer, the alarm, and then the sparkling cupcake, we also know sound on blogs is, well, controversial. So, Ben and I want to know from you good readers, do you like all those funky sounds, or should we hit the snooze button on it all and turn it off.

So, darlin's, turn up your spearkers, hit the refresh button, and let us know what you think.

Meanwhile, here's what I working on for Rachel Hope's {Cupcake Inspirations} challenge tomorrow . . . just a sneak peak.

  1. I think its fine for a couple of reasons. One is that the ticking kinda warns you that the alarm is coming. So it doesn't make you jump out of your skin or anything. lol And once it buzzes it stops so its not like some pop song that goes on and on and on……

  2. Super cute card! :)

  3. I adore this..way too cute…I'm jealous!!!

  4. I love the little chicken and the bell.  I have my mom's times exactly like that.  I sometimes turn it on just to hear the bell.  Reminds me of my mom baking cookies.  It is also used as a toy timer.  When the grandboys each want the same toy we set the chicken for 5 minutes and then when it rings they switch.  Works great.  KEEP THE BELL!!!!
