A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he was astounded to see that the blonde behind the wheel was knitting! Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window, turned on his bullhorn and yelled,
"NO!" the blonde yelled back, "IT'S A SCARF!"
My Caitlin and I took a knitting class last Wednesday from Yarnivore Urban Thread in Waco. What a blast! Caitlin had me in stitches (sorry, bad pun). She talked to every loop – "now you go this way, and you go under this one . . ." Whaa ha haa.
We learned to cast on, knit and purl. We didn't learn to cast off, so, well, we'll make a very nicely decorated knitting needle. We might have learned more without the beer, but we were just having too much fun. I'm dying to order this Wee Woodland Wuzzies knitting pattern and make these!
While Caitlin and I are knitting, purling, pulling out, re-casting on, and knitting and purling again . . . Did you know Catered Crop Facebook Fans get a sneak peak at the last challenge winner and next challenge inspiration?
Check it out and then come back tomorrow for the full scoop.
