FTR5 Challenge Love Fest Feast

Follow the Recipe

When I started the Catered Crop challenges I had no idea just how much fun they would be. Seeing your creations and having the excuse to come visit you at your blogs has been such a blast. And, my goodness, so much yummy lovey-dovey mushiness for our fifth challenge . . . it's like Valentine's day every day, a Love Fest Feast! If you're just joining us, here's our inspiration for FTR5, Denise Modin's darling lambikins card.

Follow the Recipe 5

What makes this challenge really fun is you can choose anything you like  from Denise's recipe to whip up your own creation. Choose from among Denise's ingredients, colors, theme, shapes, techniques, and then, add your own spice and make something completely different. It's kind of like the old telephone game. How fun is that?

Here's her recipe:

  • Cardstock – red, pink and white
  • Pattern Paper – geometric or repeating patterns
  • Stamps – an image with a sheep/lamb, mother/child, kisses, or a sentiment about love
  • Color Mediums – Copic markers, black or blue ink
  • Tools – art sponges; square or scallop die cuts or punches; embossing folders
  • Embellishments – ribbon, brads, tag
  • Techniques – sponging  or air brushing a sky
  • Theme love, mother/child
  • Shapes hearts, swirls and scallops
  • Other a tag with a sentiment

Here's what some of our amazing Top Chef's have cooked up with Denise's recipe. Just click on the pictures to go to the designer's blog and get all the details.
