I hope that while so many people are out smelling the flowers, someone is taking the time to plant some.
~ Herbert Rappaport
When I got up this morning my Tom and I planned our day – clean up the back porch, fertilize the lawn and plant some flowers. In reality, we're both distracted by March Madness basketball tournament play and blog surfing, especially on Pinterest. Have you heard of it, yet? Oh my, it's so addictive and fun.
Pinterest as like a virtual bulletin board. You can create collections of things you love and "follow" collections created by people with great taste. I'm nutty about felt right now so I created a board about felt, beautiful paper creations, and bunnies!
Pinterest is still in beta, so you need an invitation to start pinning. Thanks to blog surfing enabler, Lisa Spangler from sideoats + scribblers for sending me one. If you'd like an invite, just e-mail me.
And now, to much more important things. The winner of the $25 gift certificate to yummy, heirloom quality Benzie Bazaar felt is . . .
Katie Tate from Both Sides of the Paper. Katie, just e-mail me and I'll hook you up with your felt. Enjoy!
Okay, seriously . . . off to go plant some flowers. See you all tomorrow when we announce the newest Catered Crop Challenge. Oh my, we're going to be really thinking outside the box. That's all I'm sayin' . . . but you can get a sneak peak at the winning entry at the Catered Crop Facebook fan page.
