My Rememberer is Broke

"He looks like a deranged Easter Bunny."
"He does not!"
"He does too, he looks like a pink nightmare!"

Bugaboo Stella Hiding Eggs

Isn't this stamp FAB-ulous? It's part of the Stella and Gus Tidbits series from our FTR10 sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps. And, you know what's really hilarious? This is Gus! Not Stella! And, you know what? He even looks just a little like my Dad. (It's the nose and the glasses). Oh, imagining my Dad in this suit just cracks me up!

Dad Loved a good joke. He had one for every occasion and he especially liked making fun of growing old. Of course, the best part of Dad's jokes was watching him crack up telling them. In his honor and in the spirit of this goofy Easter card, here's one of Clyde Black's favorite funnies.

An elderly couple was watching television one evening.
He – I think I would like some ice cream. Would you like some ice cream?
She – Yes, I think I would like some ice cream.
He – I think I would like some chocolate syrup on my ice cream. Would you like chocolate syrup on yours?
She – Yes, but write it down or you will forget.
He – I think I would like some nuts on my ice cream. Would you like nuts on yours?
She – Yes, but write it down or you will forget.
He – No, I can remember it.
He goes into the kitchen; she can hear pots and pans rattling. Finally, he returns to the living room with two scrambled eggs and toast for her.
She – See, I told you, if you didn’t write it down you would forget my bacon.
