MFT Teaser Day 5 – Sentimental about Sympathy

If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.

MFT Sentimental about Sympathy Bow

It's day 5 of the My Favorite Things Teaser reveals of the July releases, which is incredibly exciting but also a little sad. It's exciting because the big reveal party is tonight (from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST here in the forum). It's a little sad because my gig as as guest designer is almost coming to a close. I can't begin to tell you how much fun I've had. The design team is so easy and fun to work with and I have loved meeting all you new visitors to Catered Crop. I promise, someday when I'm not busily putting together Teaser projects, I will get to visit all of you who have been so sweet to comment.

So, on such a fun day as today, it's a little melancholy sharing a sympathy card. I hope none of you has an occasion to use it soon, but if you do, this new Sentimental about Sympathy Triple Scoop Set is lovely – it has so many comforting words set in lovely typefaces.

MFT Sentimental about Sympathy

All too often I have to say, "the engine's running, but nobody's driving." When i created this I thought I would use it to lend support to the Guest Designer challenge, which is all about texture. I just realized that by the time I can post this, the contest will be over. Yep, no one's driving. And, of course, I can't put together a card like this without thinking about all my treasures – memories of the sweet people who have left this Earth before me. That said, there's a lot to touch and feel in this card (yes, it's turning me into a touchy-feely, blubbery mess.)

The inside says it all when there's nothing else you can say.
