It's Always Something.
~ Gilda Radner (1946 to 1989)
I adored Gilda Radner. She was an amazing woman tackling her cancer publicly with humility and humor. it's teaser time at My Favorite Things, and, I gotta tell you, I'm so thrilled to get my hands on this amazing set, Who's that Girl Chooses Hope. Like Gilda said – it's always something. Ain't that the truth? I love that this set is great for encouraging all the sisters through their "somethings," whatever that may be.
Who's That Girl Chooses Hope is just in time for October's Breast Cancer Awareness activities, but you can use it any time to encourage a friend and just to say "I believe in you."
I went a little crazy – not unusual, right?
Here's the inside . . . paired with a sentiment from this month's VIP Collection. But, wait . . . the inside has an inside.
When you untie the ribbon and lift up the panel, you get . . . are you ready?
Some "Save the Ta-Tas" lip balm and a little place to write a personal note. Oh, I am so clevah!

This is a really hard working card because it's also helping get the word out about this week's Wednesday Sketch Club. Ah, I love these sketches. They take most of the work out of designing a card by making the canvas.
Just come visit the My Favorite Things forum on Splitcoast Stampers to play along. You'll need to upload your card in the SCS gallery using the keyword MFTWSC39. I'll be there, and I can't wait to see what you all make with this fun sketch.
The lip balm holder is just an adaptation of this holder. I built in a 3/4" spine into the outside card to hold the lip balm holder inside the card. (So, my 5-1/2" wide by 4-1/4" card is cut out of a 11" by 9-1/4" piece of paper and scored at 4-1/4" from both ends.) You can barely see it, but I wanted to give the flower a little pop. I put a glue dot in the center and then sprinkled it with Diamond Dust glitter – it's sparkly. I wanted a soft, feminine look, so I choose the soft pallets from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found paper and pearl swirls. Here are all the fun Die-namics I used.
