Recipe Swap through Times of Trouble

I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.
Some come from ahead and some come from behind.
But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see.
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

Congratulations Ellie from My Creative Moments.  We choose your card as the crème de la crème among our buffet of entries last week. Please feel free to grab our newly designed {Catered Crop Winning Recipe} button.

Isn't her card adorable? I love her understated coloring of that sweet Penny Black image. Just click on the image to see her original blog post.

We're shaking things up at Catered Crop. I hope we're not confusing you too much. Through the holidays we're giving our designers and sponsors a break and looking back at 2011. Our challenge is part of a month-long "year in review" with different themes each week.

Most challenges ask you not to link back to previous projects. Well, forget those rules! Go back into your archives and pull out your favorites from 2011. This week our theme is Encouragement. We want to see all those beautiful cards you made to uplift your friends and family, whether it be to wish them good luck on new adventures, help them get well, deal with a loss, hang on through difficult times, or just to say "I'm thinking of you."

So . . . here are the rules for playing  . . .  there are very few rules.

  • Link up your favorite Encouragement projects from 2011, including, if you prefer, any you make this week.
  • Keep the party going and fun by leaving a comment on the projects of the two people who posted in front of you.
  • This party ends at 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 7.
  • Enter as often as you'd like.
  • Feel free to leave a comment about why this is your favorite 2011 Encouragement card.

And, here are the favorite Holiday cards our Top Chef designers picked from their 2011 archives. Just click on the picture to go to their original blog post.

Next week, starting January 8, the Catered Crop Recipe Swaps will be back in full swing. I've revamped it to make it a little easier to follow, and we have some wonderful new and returning design team members. Be sure to come back next Sunday and, in the mean time, start hoarding your buttons. (Yes, that's a hint.)
