Catered Crop Recipe Swap Button

Wow! We really painted the town red, and red never looked so good. Congratulations to Amy Tsuruta and Rosemary Dennis. You two really rocked the "Seeing Red" challenge. You're invited to join our Top Chef designers in next Sunday's Quickfire and grab the Winning Recipe button.

Congratulations also to player #17, Dawn. You get to go shopping with your $20.00 gift certificate to Paper and Such. Just e-mail me through my contact page, here, and we'll get you hooked up. Have Fun!

Whatever your craft medium is (paper, fabric, flowers, yarn, flowers . . .) everyone loves ribbon! So, you knew we'd go there, didn't you? Yes Ma'am!

Our featured ingredient for our Catered Crop Recipe Swap is Ribbon! Pull out any kind of ribbon you like: seam binding, grosgrain, tulle, fabric, burlap . . . even twine. We love it all!

Playing along is easy as tying a knot.

  • Just use a ribbon somewhere in your project. Your project does not have to be a card. Feel free to go crazy.
  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or just add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, March 17.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.

Need some ideas? Here's a whole gallery of creative ways to use ribbon in your projects. You can click on the inspiration board below to go to a Pinterest board with the sources of these pictures and more gorgeous ideas and brilliant tutorials.

Of course, no Recipe Swap about ribbon would be complete without our good friend Corinna McGregor and her Ribbon Carousel.

RibbonCarousel.com carries the ultimate in ribbon storage systems, the patent-pending Ribbon Carousel©.  This baby is genius! It's gorgeous to look at, takes a tiny bit of counter space and holds as much as 60 rolls of 3/8" ribbon. Because man cannot live on ribbon alone (although that would be cool), Corinna not only carries a huge buffet of ribbon and twine, but she also carries accessories, and now, paper! And, there's always something fun happening at the weekly Challenge Blog or on the Facebook page.

Check it out! One very lucky, randomly selected player will win a $15.00 gift certificate to go crazy at RibbonCarousel.com.

Be sure to come back Sunday, March 11, to see what our Chefs have dished up for you with their ribbons.
