Recipe Swap Quickfire in Stitches

Take your needle, my child,
and work at your pattern;
it will come out a rose by and by.

It's week two of our Catered Crop Recipe Swap and that means it's time for the Quickfire Round – where our Chefs dish up what they've made with the featured ingredient. We've got some stunning treats for you.

Our featured ingredient for our Catered Crop Recipe Swap is Stitches! Whether you knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch, hand stitch, machine stitch, or faux stitch, we love it all!

Playing along is easy as tying a knot.

  • Just use stitching somewhere in your project.
  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or just add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, March 31.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.

Whisker Graphics is the creative outpouring of the fabulously talented Whitney Beard. Her shop is full of gorgeous hard-to-find treats for anyone who loves paper (Bitty Bags, Kraft and Glassine bags, customizable Sweet Labels, Divine Twine® in twelve yummy colors, and so much more).

One crazy lucky person is going to make all of us jealous. A randomly selected player is going to win three spools of Whitney's  eco-luxe Divine Twine™ in orange, aqua, and my favorite, Air Mail. That's worth $42.00! Pair them with her Bitty Bags and Printables for endless DIY crafty fun! And, for inspiration, be sure to check out Whtiney's Whisker Graphics blog.

There's a whole gallery of gorgeous ideas and brilliant tutorials in this Pinterest board we created for you for inspiration.

I have the most freaky-amazing design team ever! I mean, really, Ev-Ah! Here are just thumbnails of what our Chefs have prepared for you with their stitches. We're also honored to be joined by our two winners from the last challenge, Christy and Debbie, and by Celebrity Chef Jenny from Whisker Graphics.

Be sure to click on these pictures to visit the Chefs' sites because, really, this is just a sneak at the amazing things they've made. Look closely – you may see a Whisker Graphics glassine bag or bitty bag (or two).

Now it's your turn. Let's get cooking.
