If Dr. Sheldon Cooper and Penny had a baby

Penny: That top has paid off in free drinks
ten times what I originally paid for it.

Sheldon: Yes, Penny has a lot of money
tied up in promiscuity futures.

My Big Bang Theory sista's will love this.

If Dr. Sheldon Cooper had coitus with Penny and merged his superior intelligence with her girlie cuteness, their baby might look like this. Don't you think?

Whaa ha ha!

And if Penny continued to be Sheldon's optimum mate for the propagation of his genetic line . . . the Dr. Cooper family tree might look like this.

Bazinga!

Hello Wars is the genius behind these Hello-Kitty-Meets-Star-Wars softies and one of the fabulous vendors I got to hang out with at the Austin Renegade Craft Fair last weekend.

The Renegade is not your Mama's craft fair (no crochet toaster covers). Oh my . . . so many creative atoms and color bursts in one place . . . almost created another Big Bang.

So many indie-craft and DIY artists in one place . . . . t's like the energy changed in a wonderful good-Karma way. You can click on the picture above to make it larger. Top to bottom and left to right that's:

Cutie Jessie Oleson, Head Spy at Cakespy.com, was just across the isle from us. If you're a fan of Taylored Expressions, you'll recognize her illustrations. (Yes, I was star struck.)

Sharing our corner booth was the sweetest girl on the face of the planet, and certainly all of Michigan, Courtney Fischer. Oh yeah, and she makes stunning jewelry.

I wasn't a vendor. I was a vendor Mom. I don't know when I've ever been more proud of my baby girl. It was just so much fun watching people react to her art.

That's my girl! Isn't she beautiful?

Caitlin was unveiling her new line, Little Low Studio (named for her puppy, Little Pillow, gotta love that).

It made me giggle to see the giggles from her Feb10 Design cards and prints. But our favorite comment came from her new Little Low Studio customers when one very pregnant woman bought some of her prints. She said it was the first thing she bought for her baby's nursery. Caitlin and I immediately day dreamed about a whole nursery fashioned after her designs. Ahhhhhh.

The Renegade Craft Fair is so wonderfully unique. They describe it best: "Each individual fair is juried from hundreds of applications to purposefully feature a curated, eclectic array of young and emergent designers producing original and handmade goods in a wide variety of media." That's just a lot of words that really just say – it's really cool; you should go! They're coming to Brooklyn, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and London (UK). Who knows. Maybe you'll see us there.
