White Pages Recipe Swap Quickfire

Where does the white go

Catered Crop Recipe Swap Button

It's week two of our "White Pages" Recipe Swap inspired by our own Catered Crop Chef Silke Ledlow. What that woman can make with white paper knocks my socks off! Just look at the archives of her blog and you'll see layers or white, white doilies and lace, white flowers . . . that all add dimension without distracting from her focal images.

Bring out those those lonely, underutilized white crayons in your coloring box, piles of white cardstock, and a few white flowers, pearls and brads for center stage because our featured ingredient for the Catered Crop Recipe Swap is the color white.

  • Just use white in your project as the primary or focus color. We'd love to see either all-white projects or white projects with just  a pop of color.
  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, August 18.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on August 19 to see if you've won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

As usual, we have a Pinterest board for some inspiration, here. And, here's what our amazing Catered Crop designers and guest chefs have dished up for you. You can click on the pictures to go to their full blog posts with all their fabulous details.

Congratulations to Donna Mikasa and Kim Singdahlsen. They won our last challenge and a gig to join our Quickfire as guest designers.

Wow! You almost have to put sunglasses on – these projects are so stunning.
