Knot Now Recipe Swap

When you come to the end of your rope,
tie a knot and hang on.
  ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt

It's my very favorite time of the month – time to pick a winner from our last Recipe Swap and start the party all over again with a new Recipe Swap challenge. Are you ready to party?!

Congratulations to Rosemary who made a Rooster look good in pink and to Victoria Schram for her pink high heels. I love Victoria's motto on her blog: "Eventually, you have to cut the 'good' paper!" Snort! Rosemary and Victoria, you're invited to join our Top Chef designers in next Sunday's Quickfire and grab the Winning Recipe button. Just contact me for all the details.

Do you know the anatomy of a knot? The difference between the standing, working and even bitter end of a knot? Me neither. Grab a boy scout if you know one, or a boat captain. You'll need to brush up on how to tie a good knot for this challenge.

And here's how we roll at Catered Crop.

  • Just use a knot in your project.
  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, September 29.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on September 30 to see if you've won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

Mosiac of creative knots

Our Catered Crop and guest designers will be back on Sunday, September 23, with their knotty projects. Until then, you'll find a Pinterest board with the sources for the ideas above and a few wonderful tutorials here
