When you come to the end of your rope,
tie a knot and hang on.

It's week two of our Knot Now Recipe Swap challenge . . .

I tied a lot of knots playing with macrame back in the 70's, so I thought it would be a simple task to add some knots into my paper craft projects. Yeah, well, I tried to do some fancy knots, like a sailor's knot and a Celtic heart knot. It was a hot mess.

Just remember, at Catered Crop, we don't care if have the knot-tying skills of an Eagle Scout, or, just like me, are happy to tie a simple knot through a button, we love playing along with you.

Here's how we roll at Catered Crop.

  • To help jump-start your design mojo, you'll find some great projects below by our Catered Chef designers and a Pinterest board with a few wonderful tutorials here.
  • Just use a knot in your project.
  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, September 29.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on September 30 to see if you've won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

The party's already hopping, and here's what our amazing Catered Crop designers and Guest Designer, Rosemary, have tied together (sorry, bad pun alert). As always, just click on the picture to go to visit them, see the details of their project, and give them a little love.
