Silver and Gold Recipe Swap

Silver and gold, silver and gold
Mean so much more when I see
Silver and gold decorations
On ev'ry Christmas tree.
~ Lyrics by Johnny Marks, 1964

How did you all like our Arsenic and Old Lace challenge? It was different, wasn't it. I loved seeing your lacy cards; and thankfully no one was injured with arsenic.

Congratulations to:

You ladies are invited to join our Top Chef designers in next Sunday's Quickfire and grab the Winning Recipe button. Just contact me for all the details.

Catered Crop Recipe Swap Button

I was a wee 9 years old when Burl Ives first sang Silver and Gold. I loved it. And, I love all the sparkle of the holiday seasons.

We want to see how you celebrate with your silver or gold projects. Bring on the glitter, charms, silver and gold cords . . . whatever makes you sparkle.

  • Just show us a project using silver or gold.
  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, December 8.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments. (The InLinkz tool below will give you a blank to tell us which player's site you visited and left some comment love.)
  • Check back with us on December 9 to see if you've won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

Our Catered Crop and guest designers will be back on Sunday, December 2, with their projects. Until then, here are a few ideas I've curated in my Pinterest board: Silver and Gold. If you click on the inspiration board above, it will take you to the Pinterest board where you can get to the original craft artists and their tutorials.
