For fast-acting relief,
try slowing down. ~ Lily Tomlin
I was watching a talk show when Edith Kirchmaier came on. At age 105, she's still driving a car, volunteering, making crafts, and even staying connected through Facebook.
Her only advice for a long life is to live happily and day-by-day. “I don’t let things bother me. If I can’t change them I don’t worry about them.”
Don't worry; be happy. It took hearing that from a centenarian for me to pay attention.
If it's Wednesday, that means it's time for another My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge, (MFTWSC119). I love how festive this sketch is this week. You can find all the details for playing along on the My Favorite Things blog where you can also see what the Design Team has done with it.
I followed Michele Boyer's tutorial, Coloring Hair with Copic Markers. Didn't the little doll's hair turn out cute? Thanks, Michele!
Here are the toys I played with, including the new Pure Innocence Serenity stamp set.
Finished size is 4-1/4" by 5-1/2". Other ingredients include Memento Rich Cocoa Die Ink; Copic Markers (E50, E53 and E31 for hair; E000 and E00 for skin); My Mind's Eye 6 x 6 Indie Chic Nutmeg Designer Paper Pad.Pin It
