A good snapshot stops a moment from running away.  ~Eudora Welty

That Eudora Welty was a smart lady.

By unanimous decision my family’s favorite picture is from just a random day. Ms. Welty was right.  Without this snapshot the moment would have been a long-gone runaway.

My favorite adventure.

Tips & Techniques

I love how the Laina Lamb Design InstaFrame Die-namics resembles a Polaroid. so I matched it with the little photographer in the Pure Innocence stamp set, Shutterbug. She’s fussy cut, Copic colored and paper pieced.

If you’ve hung around me much, you know paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques. I still picked up a few tips from the latest My Favorite Things Academy installment, this one by Barbara Anders, MFTED8.

The sketch is from this week’s My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Club, MFTWSC126.

Here are the Copic markers I used and the rest of the ingredients.

Thanks for hanging out with me again – may you have many happy adventures!
