Congratulations John and Kate

Love does not consist of gazing at each other,
but in looking together in the same direction.
~ Antoine de Saint-Exupery

So Happy For YouThe designers and guest designers (that’s Amy Kolling me) at i{heart}papers are surprising John and Kate today with a blog hop. We all couldn’t wait to wish them both lots of joy and happiness on their sparkly new marriage.

Just Roll With It

John and Kate were married last weekend. May it be the start of a wonderful and exciting life together – with no potholes, no steep hills to climb, and with the wind always at your back. (Yes, I love my bicycle metaphors.)

Celebrate

We hope all of you will join us in the celebration and add your congratulations along the way. Here’s where the party’s at!

Tips & Techniques

I used a fun sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch (CTS #47) and modified it to create a window from the front of the card to the inside of the card. The clear sequins were a gift from a friend years ago before sequins came back in style. Ah, the cycle of life. I love how they look against the clear acetate sheet that created the window.

Here are the rest of the ingredients, including this fabulous Avery Elle stamp set, Roll With It.

And, that’s it for me. Have fun, John and Kate, and may this be the start of a long and happy life together. Now, off you go to see what fun surprise Lindsay has for you.
