Catered Crop Recipe Swap Button

It’s week two of our “Orange is the New Black” challenge. Time to check in with all of you and our designers, too. Orange you glad? (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.) I gotta tell you, I’m already excited about all the entries so far. But it’s not too late to join us.

Grab your orange inks, papers, crayons, and if you throw in a pumpkin, that’s great, too.

  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, October 26.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on October 27 to see if you’ve won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

Our fabulous designers are with their projects and I’ve curated some projects to help your orange mojo in this Pinterist board: Orange.

But first, a few announcements.

I have some really sad and some really happy news for you. Tracy MacDonald has been such an amazing team member.  She is so crazy talented and just a sweet, sweet lady to work with, I miss her already. But Tracy is stepping down to devote her energies to her health. Get better, soon, Tracy! We love you.

We’re joined by another crazy-talented stamper, Sarah Gough. I worked with Sarah on another team, and she never failed to inspire me. She was always the first designer I visited to see what amazing outside the box things she created. And, of course, I nearly always gasped – Why didn’t I think of that?! So I’m freaky excited she accepted my invitation to join us. I know you’re going to love her, too.

I am the luckiest person on the planet to be able to host such amazing (and busy) crafters as Tracy, Sarah, Cheryl, Libby, Silke, Rebecca, May, and Kim. (Don’t forget . . . you can just click on the pictures of the projects to visit our designers’ blogs and send them some comment love.

Sarah’s card for our challenge has cork and sequins and a beautiful water-color effect with distress markers – oh my!

Holy Smokes! You have to see May’s card under the magnifying glass to enjoy all the fabulous details – like twine feelers!

Kim’s joy-ful card makes me smile so much. How clever are those zig-zag patterns?!

And here’s a sneaky peak of something I’m working on for Tuesday. Stay tuned.
