Hey everyone – before we get to our challenge I thought I’d explain why I call the second week of our challenge the Quickfire round. It’s inspired by one of my favorite reality shows, Top Chef (on the Bravo network). Each episode the chefs participate in a mini challenge, the Quickfire round, before they move on to the Elimination challenges.

Thankfully, no one gets eliminated in our Quickfire round. It’s just a chance to show off my amazing design team and hopefully give you some more inspiration for the overall challenge. Enjoy!

We’re crazy about gorgeous, translucent, eco-friendly, Japanese masking tape – Washi Tape. So, just use Washi Tape somewhere in your project and come join us.

  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, November 9.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on November 10 to see if you’ve won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

As always, I’ve also curated some projects to jump start your mojo in this Pinterist board Washi Tape. And, our fabulous designers and guest designers are here with their projects. Just click on the pictures of their projects to visit their blogs.

Cheryl is such a genius. She made die cut letters from Washi tape and put them on coffee sleeve banners.

Sarah’s little strip of woodgrain Washi tape grounded her image and gave it the perfect pop.

Can you spot May’s Washi tape? Hint: It makes me very Happy.

Kim found a smart way to make her embellishments match her Washi tape – check out the button and leaves!

Congratulations to our winners from our last challenge, LeAnne and Tammy. I’m thrilled and honored to have them as guest designers.

LeAnne makes it look so easy with just a few stamps and a stockpile of Washi tape.

You mustache – dash to Tammy’s blog to see how she made this ‘tache.
