If the trailer’s rockin’, don’t come knockin’.
~ Billy Joe Shaver
I couldn’t resist. I just had to put a little rocking in this darling trailer. (Just click on the picture.)
It’s just too much fun to think about what might be going on inside. Like . . .
It could be my boys jumping up and down about the football playoffs, the puppies wrestling over a toy, or it could be me doing a happy dance over being this month’s guest designer for the Color Throwndown.
Why . . . what were you thinking?
I was going to lay low in January, but when sweet Tammy Hershberger asked me to join the amazingly talented stampers at Color Throwdown, well there was just no way I could say no to her.
Look at this gorgeous inspiration Tammy gave us for this week’s challenge CTD273.
Tips & Techniques
The Action Wobble Springs are what put the rock in my trailer – so fun!
I love that Avery Elle provides free cut files for every stamp set. I cut out the Trailer shape with the Silhouette and then stamped the trailer image onto the cut-out shape. (Using the Fiskars Stamp Press made positioning the stamp really easy.) Then I stamped the trailer image again multiple times onto the different patterned paper to “color” the trailer. After it was all assembled, I glued the trailer onto the circle using the Action Wobble Springs.
The sketch I used is from Avery Elle’s December challenge. Here are the links sketch and the products I used.
