button up recipe swap

Button up your overcoat,
When the wind is free,
Take good care of yourself,
You belong to me!
~ lyrics by B.G. DeSylva & Lew Brown, 1928

Catered Crop Recipe Swap Button
My mother used to keep a bowl of spare buttons on her dresser. Apparently I was easily entertained as a kid because I loved just spilling the jar out on her bedspread and playing with the buttons while she puttered around me. Playing with buttons is always a bit sweet and nostalgic to me. Does anyone else feel that way?

Hopefully you like playing with buttons as much as I do, because that’s what we’re doing with this challenge – our annual button challenge. Just add a button or more to your project and come join the party. Or, alternatively, show us how you store and organize your buttons – that’s always fun, too.

  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, May 10.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on May 11 to see if you’ve won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

ButtonMosaic

Our fabulous designers will be back on Sunday, May 4, with their creations. Until then I’ve curated a ton of projects that use buttons and some ideas for storing buttons here at a Pinterest board, Button, Button where you can find the links to all these projects and more.
