seeing red recipe swap quickfire

When in doubt wear red.
~ Bill Blass

Catered Crop Recipe Swap ButtonDid you give up on me? We had a crazy storm last Thursday that did a lot of damage very close to my house (and throughout a lot of the heart of Texas). Thankfully, the only casualty at our house was our bundled television and internet service. It was actually pretty nice to be off the grid a little. I admit I Googled Project Runway to see what happened while I was gone, but beyond that I only missed you guys – a lot. It’s good to be back and catch up with our Recipe Swap.

It’s week two (and a half) of our Seeing Red challenge and way past time to check in with you and our designers. Here’s your chance to make a bold statement. For this challenge we want you to use the color red somewhere in your project.

  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, October 18 (extended one week due to this delay).
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on October 19 to see if you’ve won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

Here’s a Pinterest board of suggestions,  Seeing Red, and our amazing designers are here to show you their passion for red. Just click on the pictures of their cards to visit their blogs and say hey.

good medicine quickfire

“I don’t feel very much like Pooh today,” said Pooh.
“There there,” said Piglet. “I’ll bring you tea and honey until you do.”
~ A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

Catered Crop Recipe Swap ButtonIt’s week two of our good medicine challenge. This challenge is inspired by a care package my mother’s cousin sent me when I was a little girl stuck in bed with rheumatic fever. I was convinced her box of little gifts were what got me well – not all those penicillin shots. It was good medicine!

For this challenge we want you to make a little good medicine – a get well card (or care package).

  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, September 27.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on September 28 to see if you’ve won an opportunity to be a guest designer.

Here’s a Pinterest board of suggestions: Get Well. And, as always, our fabulous designers are here to offer their therapy of get well cards. Just click on the pictures of the cards to visit their blogs and say hi.
