Recipe Swap Quickfire in Red

Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin.
That, or a kick-ass red lipstick.
        ~ Gwyneth Paltrow

  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, March 3.

I'm so tickled that Paper and Such is joining us for this challenge. Paper and Such has everything a paper crafter could want. The Paper and Such line of clear photopolymer stamps is so much fun (check out the chickens) and they're made right here in the USA! They carry all my favorite papers as well as adhesives, dies, embellishments, twine, ribbon . . . yep, paper crafter's candy store. Be sure to visit their Paper and Such Design Blog for beautiful inspiration and weekly challenges.

One very lucky randomly picked player will get to go shopping at Paper and Such with a $20 Gift Certificate.

There's a whole gallery of gorgeous ideas and brilliant tutorials in this Pinterest board we created for you for inspiration. And, here's what our Chefs have prepared for you in red. These are just thumbnails of their amazing work, so be sure to click their names to visit their blogs.

Catered Crop Recipe Swap Button

Oh my goodness gracious groovy. Our last challenge set a Catered Crop record with over 100 entries. Thank you, thank you to everyone who shared their hearts with us in our Heart challenge.

Congratulations to Tracy MacDonald who gave us three adorable entries, Beverly Cole who gave us a glittery heart-shaped box of chocolates (yes, I can be bribed with chocolate), and to Stephanie Lonzolotto for really embracing the challenge with her 100 hearts.  You're invited to join our Top Chef designers in next Sunday's Quickfire and grab the Winning Recipe button.

Congratulations also to player #9, Joni 52. You get to go shopping for three wonderful characters from Heather Ellis.  Just e-mail me through my contact page, here, and we'll get you hooked up. Have Fun!

February is definitely the month for the color red, and not just because of Valentine's day (or, if you prefer, Single Awareness Day). February is also the month of the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women® campaign and a great month for watching Indiana University men's basketball (Go Big Red).

Our featured ingredient for our Catered Crop Recipe Swap is the color Red!

Playing along is easy as cherry pie.

  • Just use the color red somewhere in your project.
  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or just add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, March 3.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments. Do be sure to comment on the other player's post because sometimes I really do check.

Need some ideas? Here's a whole gallery of creative ways to use red in your projects. You can click on the inspiration board below to go to a Pinterest board with the sources of these pictures and more gorgeous ideas and brilliant tutorials.

If you think that's juicy, there's more.
